
The Delta Sun Peaks Resort is located in British Columbia’s beautiful Thompson Okanagan region; the Delta Sun Peaks is situated 45 minutes from Kamloops in B.C.’s interior. Sun Peaks is easily accessible from both Vancouver (4 ˝ hours) and Seattle (5 ˝ hours) on the scenic four-lane Coquihalla Highway, from Banff (6 ˝ hours) on the Trans-Canada Highway, and from Jasper (5 hours) on the Yellowhead Highway. There are frequent flights into Kamloops, BC from both Vancouver, BC and Calgary AB through Westjet and Air Canada. As of June 2009, all US citizens returning to the US must have a valid passport (a few exceptions apply see http://www.consular.canada.usembassy.gov/passport_requirement.asp). All conference attendees travelling from the US, should have a passport before travelling to Canada.
For those traveling from the U.S., border crossings are quite frequent along border. Some crossings have 24 hour access and others have only limited hours. The closest crossing is at Osoyoos (opposite to Oroville, Wa). The biggest crossings are towards Vancouver.
If driving up from the south coast there are the Pacific Highway, Aldergrove, and Huntington crossings. They are collectively about 3 hours driving time from Kamloops.
Both Kamloops and Vancouver airports have customs services. Kamloops customs has limited hours (8-4:30pm).

All delegates arriving at the Kamloops airport and requiring shuttle transport to Sun Peaks Resort should contact Cheryl Phippen at bwp@shaw.ca no later than September 15th , 2010 with flight arrival information. There are no scheduled shuttle times for this time of the year, so shuttles will be arranged specifically to accommodate our conference delegates.
A block of rooms has been reserved for our attendees at a special rate (CAN dollars). The Delta Sun Peaks Resort must receive reservations by September 3, 2010 in order to guarantee the special group rate. Reservations made after this date are not guaranteed the group rate or room availability. Delta Room - Features a king, or two double, color TV with remote, lounge chair, writing desk, mini-bar and coffee maker; fluffy bathrobes, hairdryers, Lodgenet movies with Nintendo, computer/fax modem, two phones (one being portable) and confidential voice mail. approximately 383 sq. ft.
Deluxe Room approximately 442 sq. ft. - Larger in size than our Delta rooms, with the same great features of one king, or two double beds, 25” colour TV with remote, personalized mini-bar, complimentary coffee and tea for use with an in-room coffeemaker, iron and ironing board and individual climate controls.
Junior Suites – approximately 551 sq. ft.
One Bedroom Suites – approximately 589 sq. ft.
We offer Junior and One-bedroom suites with a king bed in the master bedroom and pullout sofa in the living room. Each suite has two televisions with remote control with some suites offering guests a fireplace, balcony and incredible mountain views.
Mountain Suite
Located on the fourth floor of the hotel with a balcony and incredible mountain view, the bedroom has a king size bed, television with remote control, iron and ironing board and individual climate controls. Also featured in the Mountain Suite is a second bathroom and a boardroom table for up to eight people, great for conducting private meetings in the comfort of your suite. Our upgraded amenities package completes the offerings available in this luxurious suite.
Alternately, there are condo-type residences available at the Delta SunPeaks. These are ideal for families or groups as they have full kitchens, laundry and entertaining space:

No penalty when cancelled 7 days or more prior to arrival. If cancelled within 7 days of arrival, or do not arrive for the reservation, the entire amount of the reservation is non-refundable
